We are seeking a Material Management Analyst who will work with stakeholders within the Rogers Access Network team in creating inventory demand requirements and forecasts.

 

What you will be doing...

  • Work with key stakeholders in creating inventory demand requirements and forecasts
  • Analyst will assist the Program Manager’s in coordinating, planning, communicating, and executing the delivery of core project components to our customer.
  • Liaison with the Supply Chain team to monitor, review and consolidate inventory levels.
  • Ongoing review of obsolete equipment and develop a long-term strategy on equipment obsolescence
  • Assist in the implementation of NIM and the ongoing use of NIM within the Network access teams.
  • Continue current inventory reduction initiatives and implement governance and controls to manage inventory levels.
  • Work with Access Delivery Managers and regional teams to develop project plans with equipment requirements, delivery timelines and equipment timelines 
  • Review current processes for ordering, transferring, releasing and implement process improvements using Kaizen techniques. 
  • Preparation of communications, progress reporting and meeting agendas and minutes
  • Working with complex data in excel tables; project scheduling, including action item tracking; project and program invoicing and financial updates and tracking; filing and document management; assisting with addressing of deficiencies and risks.
  • Point of contact for Equipment Questions/Concerns and communications with Regions
  • Governance and Control over Material shortages. Tracking and assignment of key available material on a National scale.
  • Work with Stakeholders on Process Improvement on Forecasts and material related processes

 

What you have...

  • Degree or Diploma is an asset. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience working in a professional environment/ project management is considered an asset. 
  • Possess excellent Microsoft application skills (Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Experience with MS Project would be considered an asset. 
  • Detail-oriented, with an emphasis on quality of work.
  • Proven exceptional work-ethic, self-motivated, and highly driven. 
  • Good verbal communication and writing skills are essential. 
  • Polished "follow up" and information gathering skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills. 
  • Must be flexible and willing to perform other duties as required
