| XL 103 and 90.3 AMP Radio are looking for the next promotions superstar! As a part-time member of the promotions street team, you will represent the stations at various events, concerts, movie premieres, sales remotes and trade shows throughout the summer. Reporting to the Promotions Coordinator, team members will be motivated, responsible, and energetic and must be able to work independently and as part of a team, while representing each of the radio station brands – while having fun! | |
| Credentials | • Valid AB driver’s license with a clean driving record. |
| Essential Skills | • Previous radio experience is considered an asset. • Detail oriented: attention to detail is essential! • Must have a strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (i.e. you know how to clearly communicate with and engage the social media audience in 140 characters or less!) • Availability on evenings and weekends during off-season (September – April), and weekday, evenings and weekend availability during peak summer season (May – August). • Highly energetic, outgoing and eager to interact with listeners and non-listeners to generate excitement at events. • Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and passion to win. • Ability to work in a fast paced environment under minimal supervision. • Must be willing get your hands dirty and handle occasional heavy lifting, while treating equipment with respect and care. • Understand the importance of representing our brands in a professional manner at all events. |
| Experience | • Positive attitude, ability to problem solve and a strong desire to achieve. • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. • Must have a flexible schedule. • Geographic familiarity with the Calgary area. • Broadcast/journalism diploma a definite asset. • Ability to work hard and play hard as a member of a team of dedicated engagement specialists and prove yourself with minimal supervision. • Must be reliable and punctual. |
