Job Number: R-1002581 Locations: Regina, Saskatchewan or Kanata, Ontario Closing Date (MM/DD/YYYY): 06/22/2021 Worker Type: Permanent Language(s) Required: English, French Senior leader experience rewarded An experienced formal leader, you’ll provide strategic direction and oversee FCC’s credit risk practices as they relate to loan approval and loan administration protocols. Your efforts will ensure the quality of the asset portfolio is appropriate and financial returns are commensurate with risk and adequate to sustain the corporation’s long-term viability. This position is designated bilingual (English and French), and the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both of Canada’s official languages. What you’ll do: - Oversee credit risk practices - Review largest and most complex loan applications - Approve lending authorities and manage situations of inappropriate use - Direct credit facility approval and ongoing customer monitoring management protocols - Lead first tier Credit Committee review - Help establish annual corporate objectives - Network with industry peers on issues of strategic importance What we’re looking for: - Proven leader with exceptional judgment passionate about helping others succeed - Team player with a customer focus who can balance effective risk management with growth and strategic execution priorities - Experienced lender with extensive knowledge of the Canadian agriculture and agri-food industry - Critical thinker who understands applicable legislation and can develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies - Confident communicator with a clear vision and expectations for the division - Relationship-builder with solid networking skills able to resolve conflict and create alignment What you’ll need: - A degree in agriculture, business or commerce supplemented with accreditation (such as P.Ag.) and at least 10 years of credit experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) - Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making as it relates to all aspects of credit, negotiation and problem-solving - A love for agriculture | |
