| The Marketing Coordinator will assist the Marketing Manager with all aspects of marketing and communications for Canada's Ballet Jörgen (CBJ) and George Brown Dance (GBD). -This will include assisting with: -Managing all company social media platforms including blog, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter and TikTok- including the collection/tracking of analytics; -Developing and executing of a communications plan for all company e-newsletters and e-blasts; -Producing high-quality, comprehensive written content- including impact stories, media releases and outreach materials; -Maintaining and updating the CBJ website; -Additional responsibilities include: -Supporting the Marketing Manager with creation and execution of marketing for CBJ’s performances and touring; -Supporting the Education Department with creation and execution of marketing plans for GBD, Summer Dance and the Virtual Dance Academy; | |

| Experience | -Marketing and communications experience a must; -Strong written and verbal communication skills a must; -Social Media management experience a must; -SEO and Analytics expertise a must; -WordPress experience preferred; -Experience with paid social media advertising preferred; -Experience with InDesign preferred; -Must be highly motivated by the vision and mission of Canada's Ballet Jörgen to ensure marketing services functions efficiently and effectively to contribute to achievement of strategic goals and objectives; -Must be able to handle stressful situations and deadline pressure while ensuring accuracy; -Comfortable working independently; -Knowledge of/background in dance/performing arts an asset; -French an asset. |
