The opportunity

Our Digital Workplace team is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and we are expanding our presence in Calgary, Alberta to support the Information Services department.

We are seeking an energetic Platform Solution Analyst who has hands-on knowledge and in-depth experience supporting various Microsoft platforms including SharePoint, Power Platform and Microsoft 365 solutions. This individual has the proven skills, competencies and capacity to engage key business stakeholders and provide innovative solutions and training.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate and become a trusted strategic partner by building relationship new and existing stakeholders across the organization providing subject matter expertise for Microsoft 365 and SharePoint as well as the Power Platforms
• Assist and work with the Digital Workplace team members over the entire life cycle for projects and solutions
• Present regularly to clients to provide business outcome solutions and provide training and testing for Microsoft platforms
• Provide customer tier III support via ServiceNow portal for various incidents as required
• Opportunity to provide mentorship to students and entry level employees and contractors
• Provide communications to clients and IS department on various projects with regular updates
• Assist with managing demand for several projects within the Digital Workplace team by providing expertise for SharePoint, Microsoft 365 and Power platforms
• Write technical reports to assist with proactively training and updating systems and applications
• Help create a culture at TC Energy as a trusted, friendly and accessible source for knowledge and help
• Other as required

Minimum Qualifications

• A completed bachelor’s degree or technical diploma from a recognized institution specializing in Computer Science, Business or a related technical discipline is required
• Minimum of four (4+) or more years of related work experience in a similar role
• Platform experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform and SharePoint is required to be successful in this role
• Experience writing business and technical requirements documents, software design specification documents, and proposals
• Must understand testing and/or quality assurance processes; ensuring the quality of all the company deliverables is of the highest importance

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the energy industry and built business acumen is considered an asset
• MSCE certification is considered an asset
• Knowledge and understanding of custom development, project management and requirements gathering
• Strong and collaborative communication skills, both verbally and written
• Ability to build strategic relationships, inside and outside of TC Energy, as a SharePoint/Power Platform subject matter expert
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and prioritization skills of individual workload to meet tight timelines
• Be outcome obsessed with proven experience delivering for clients and organizational goals
• Passionate about learning with curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset
• Ability and preference to multitask and work on a high volume, wide variety of projects/solutions simultaneously
