Ministry of Children and Family Development Prince George This position is also posted as a Nurse (ATL) under REQ 87193. Clinic Coordinator $72,724.97 - $83,014.85 annually plus 1-Grid Temporary Market Adjustment Youth Forensic Psychiatric Services is mandated to provide in-patient and outpatient Court-ordered and Court-related assessment and treatment for young offenders pursuant to the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Youth Forensic Psychiatric Services also provides services to young persons found unfit to stand trial or not criminally responsible due to mental disorder (N.C.R.M.D.) pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada. In this role you will co-ordinate and supervise the administration of Youth Forensic Psychiatric Services programs for youth who have offended within the various clinics and catchment areas served by these clinics. In addition, this position provides direct clinical assessment and treatment services to youth clients and the youth courts. This position reports directly to the Regional Manager and works closely with the Regional Clinical Director. Qualifications for this role include: - Master's degree or equivalent education and training, i.e. MSW, M.Ed.(Counselling) or MA (Clinical Psychology). o NOTE: If this education was obtained outside of Canada, you need to confirm it has been assessed for equivalency through the International Credential Evaluation Services (ICES). You must provide a basic report by the closing date of this posting to be considered. - Minimum three (3) years of post degree clinical experience providing adolescent, outpatient oriented mental health assessment and treatment services. - Successful MSW candidates must be registered and a member in good standing with the BC College of Social Workers. As a condition of employment, successful MSW prepared candidates are required to obtain clinical registration with their regulated professional body within 12 months of employment. - Must possess and maintain a valid class 5 BC Driver's licence with no restriction or equivalent (i.e. from another Canadian Province). | |
