Reporting to the Director of Agile Delivery + Lean-Agile CoE within Tech Hub and Shared Services, the Senior Manager Lean-Agile CoE (LACE) will be accountable for the People, Process and Cultural change management required to mature our Business Agility within a Scaled Agile Framework continuously and sustainably.

 

The role will build and lead a team of specialists focused on Culture & Leadership, Process Development & Continuous Improvement, Learning & Skilling and Change & Adoption, responsible for the evolution of lean-agile mindset and practices to improve the understanding and adoption of lean-agile practices. This includes coaching, facilitating training, knowledge sessions, fostering momentum, and using continuous improvement methodologies.

 

Responsible for the SAFe Implementation Roadmap, including managing the Hub in a Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) Hub-and-Spoke model – and supporting the HR Hub, as a People Enablement spoke to drive active culture and learning activities to embed the mindset within the Operating Model.

What you will be doing – key responsibilities:

  • Driving the need, urgency, and vision for change across the Organization - manage the Scaled Agile Transformation Roadmap
  • Championing the Lean-Agile Mindset, Competencies and Principles with a heavy focus on Lean-Agile Leadership
  • Represent the interests of the People and People Enablement team in all interactions
  • Own the health of transformation and sustainment from a People and Operating Model point of view
  • Building and Leading a team of specialists who:
  • Build and execute the transformation backlog to achieve Full SAFe®
  • Perform effective People-centric change management at an organizational and individual level
  • Actively embed the Cultural Values through practical campaigns to change associated behaviours
  • Train and Coach all Scaled Agile practitioners, and empower individuals to adopt the Continuous Growth mindset
  • Sustain the transformation through data driven continuous improvement and ownership of Business Agility KPIs


What you have – critical skills/designations:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years organizational change management experience; Scaled Agile Transformation is a definite asset
  • Open minded with a continuous growth attitude is a must; confident to challenge the status quo and follow-through with appropriate tact
  • Strong leadership skills to build relationships among Executive Leaders and drive results without reporting relationships
  • Strong business and technical acumen and professionalism, excellent presentation skills with solid verbal and written communication aptitude
  • Expert knowledge, understanding and experience with SAFe® Lean-Agile Values, Mindsets, Principles and Competencies is required
  • Certified SAFe® Program Consultant (SPC/T), is a definite asset
  • Data-driven decision maker; certified Lean Six Sigma® is an asset
  • Solid understanding of adult learning practices and techniques
  • Understanding of Change Management practices; Prosci® certification is an asset
  • Understanding of Design Thinking practices, with a focus on Customer Centricity
