These careers are about more than aviation—they play a critical role in safety, connect remote regions, and support the movement of people and goods that many communities rely on.
Here’s what makes this a unique opportunity:
  • Paid, full-time training — no previous aviation experience needed. Students earn between $56,899–$59,550 annually and may be eligible for relocation supports. Total training time ranges from 12–27 months depending on posting location.
  • Stable, well-paying careers with long-term potential. Graduates start with base salaries between $101,221–$139,333 in their first year, plus applicable premiums, with opportunities to move into training, management, or corporate roles.
  • Work that matters. NAV CANADA is a private not-for-profit with over 100 staffed sites nationwide. You’ll help keep Canada’s skies safe while supporting communities coast to coast to coast.

  • Basic eligibility includes being at least 18 years old and having a high school diploma or equivalent. Medical certification, background checks, and drug testing (including cannabis) are required.
  • Specific aptitudes and abilities — including clear communication, teamwork, situational awareness, and the ability to visualize aircraft movement in three dimensions.
  • Relocation is required. Initial postings are based on operational needs, with greater flexibility later. Current openings are for Winnipeg and the surrounding region.

NAV CANADA recrute des étudiantes et des étudiants pour faire carrière dans le contrôle de la circulation aérienne à Winnipeg et dans ses environs. Aucune expérience préalable n’est requise.

Travailler à NAV CANADA, c’est beaucoup plus qu’une simple carrière en aviation : c’est contribuer directement à la sécurité du pays, à la liaison des régions éloignées et à la circulation de personnes et de biens dont dépendent de nombreuses collectivités.
Voici ce qui rend cette occasion unique :
  • Vous profiterez d’une formation à temps plein rémunérée pour laquelle aucune expérience préalable en aviation n’est requise. Pendant la formation, vous pourriez gagner entre 56 899 $ et 59 550 $ par année, et même bénéficier d’aide financière si vous devez déménager pour la formation initiale. La formation dure entre 12 et 27 mois, selon le lieu du poste.

  • Exigences de base : vous devez avoir au moins 18 ans et posséder un diplôme d’études secondaires ou l’équivalent. Vous aurez à fournir un certificat médical, et l’on procédera à une vérification de vos antécédents, ainsi qu’à un test de dépistage des drogues (y compris le cannabis).
  • Aptitudes et habiletés précises : nous recherchons des personnes capables de collaborer et de s’exprimer suffisamment bien pour se faire comprendre à la radio. Elles doivent également être dotées de la conscience situationnelle et de l’orientation spatiale nécessaires pour comprendre la position des aéronefs en trois dimensions.
  • Déménagement nécessaire : votre premier lieu d’affectation sera choisi en fonction des besoins opérationnels. Vous aurez ensuite davantage le choix de l’endroit où votre carrière vous mènera. Nos offres d’emploi ne concernent que Winnipeg et ses environs.
