The Operator in Training (OIT) will receive Class 1 driver’s license training along with position specific training to become a qualified Operator. Reporting to the Divisional Driver Mentor, the Operator in Training will gain exposure to District and Field operations and will be trained to operate Calfrac Fracturing equipment while adhering to Calfrac’s operational, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at all times. These roles are for individuals that live (or are willing to relocate) to our operating districts; Red Deer and Grande Prairie. This position description represents an overview of the position and is not designed to cover all duties or requirements of the role. PROGRAM: • 6-week Operator in Training (OIT) Program with Class 1 Driver Training and position specific mentoring • Upon program completion you will be promoted to an Operator status. SCHEDULE: • Duration of OIT Program: Monday to Friday Schedule • Upon Completion: 15 days on, 6 days off COMPENSATION: • Guaranteed Base Compensation • Paid Training and Program Completion Bonus • Health and Dental Benefits effective day 1 of employment, Vacation Pay, RRSP Matching • Meal allowance and accommodations provided when working away from District. • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – provided • Eligible for Job Revenue Bonus Program upon completion of OIT program.
