| Prominent thoroughbred racing stable is looking for two (2) full-time exercise riders to work at Woodbine Racetrack, 555 Rexdale Blvd, Toronto, Ontario M9W 5L2 from March to December and at 1177 King Vaughan Rd, Maple ON L6A 2A5 from December to March. A thoroughbred exercise rider is responsible for the training of 6 to 8 horses daily. These responsibilities include preparing and developing young horses into racehorses. Tacking up horses, breezing and gate work will be required. Applicants must be willing to start work very early each morning - 5:15am, 6 to 7 days a week, depending on the stable requirements. A minimum of 5 years experience exercising racehorse at a racetrack and breaking babies at the farm is required. | |
