| Job Duties -Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas from truck. -Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, roofers and glaziers in construction sites as instructed. -Use hand tools and power tools at construction sites as instructed. -Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment. -Follow safety procedures and report any violations to management. -Report any work-related incident to Safety Director. -Perform other activities at constructions sites, as directed. Employment Requirements -At least 1 year of experience working in construction. -Ability to follow instructions. -Capable of working independently and as part of a team. -Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools. -Must be physically fit and have a positive attitude. -Ability to travel to multiple work locations in the Capital Regional District. -Valid driver's license. -Scheduling flexibility, including the ability to work and travel on weekends as necessary. -English language ability. Job Details -$45,142 per year -Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week) -Group benefit plan available after 90 days -Regular heavy lifting, standing and squatting Location -Various worksites in the Capital Regional District | |
