| AGI Envirotank LP is in need of Welders Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent AGI Envirotank LP is a leading manufacturer of steel storage tanks. We are currently seeking Production Welders with experience in a metal manufacturing shop. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawing specifications, manuals, and processes. 2. Operate manual or semi-automatic welding: gas metal arc welding (GMAW), shield metal arc welding (SMAW), submerged arc welding (SAW), and Flux-Cored arc welding (FCAW) 3. Operate and maintain flame-cutting and plasma arc cutting equipment 4. Operate metal shaping machines such as brake, shears and hydraulic band saw 5. Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues 6. Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and repair techniques 7. Ensure compliance with Industry, Legislative, and corporate Safety policies and procedures 8. Perform other related duties as required Working Hours: Monday to Friday on the day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; Monday to Thursday on the night shift from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM; Some weekend may be required; 2 varied days off per week Benefits: Dental, Vision Care, Disability Insurance, Extended Health Care, Life Insurance, RRSP match after 1 year of employment, On-site Parking Work Locations: 401 Hwy 4 Biggar, Saskatchewan, Canada S0K 0M0 Employment Requirements: - FCAW experience is a plus - CWB certification is a plus - Experience working in a tank manufacturing shop would be an asset - Basic computer skill - Applicant must be willing to relocate or reliably commute to Biggar, SK | |
