About the Opportunity

We are looking to add an IT Technician to service our growing Vancouver Island branches for a 12-month term. This temporary position is based out of our Victoria Office, but you will also be required to maintain a bi-weekly presence in our Courtenay Office.

Working alongside our team of IT professionals, you will carry out a variety of duties in computer software and hardware support services as well as some computer programming/scripting. You will be a first point of contact for the Victoria and Courtenay branch staff.

In this role, you will get to contribute to our team by:
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PC's, Windows servers, printers, network devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Providing technical support to staff.
- Installing and supporting common office and engineering software applications.
- Participate in the planning and execution of IT initiatives for your offices.
- Demonstrating a commitment to learning through the ongoing achievement of personal and professional goals.

About You

Our ideal candidate is someone with 4+ years of related experience and a graduate of a Computer Technology diploma program. Applicant should have experience in administering a Microsoft environment, and Cisco CLI experience would be considered an asset.
