| Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal, Full-time, Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend; Overtime and holidays may be required. Vacancies: 30 Anticipated start date: Spring 2024 (actual start date dependent on weather) Duties: - Assist with landscape constructions - Weed, prune and trim trees and plants - Cut grass - Rake and collect refuse - Remove litter and garbage - Cart and spread topsoil and other materials - Lay sod or seed - Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees - Apply fertilizers - Rake and spread topsoil to grade - Install mulch and other decorative rock - Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens - Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment - May drive some small equipment Personal Suitability Reliability, Organized, Team player, Dependability Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Walking, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling, Working under Pressure, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks Veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, Visible minorities, Youth, Indigenous people, and Newcomers to Canada are welcome to apply. | |
