Duties: Reporting to the Chair of the Mathematics, Science & Communication Division, the Instructor is required to develop and deliver applied math and science courses in the Skilled Trades and Technology programs. The incumbent will develop and modify curriculum; conduct student assessment; supervise student practical labs; maintain accurate course records; effectively manage classroom activities; and perform related administrative responsibilities as required. The incumbent will instruct at both the Notre Dame and Exchange District Campuses in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- An Engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Civil or Red Seal Endorsed in Trades
- Related industry experience after attainment of formal qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with the application of Math and Science fundamentals in the trades and technology occupations
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Experience in integrating technology in teaching, and ability to adapt to new technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- Effective presentation skills
- Experience using conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in-group settings
- Effective leadership skills

- Commitment to lifelong learning

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion or current enrollment in the CAE program
- Experience in curriculum development
- Experience in Desire to Learn

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check
- This position is subject to audiometric assessments 
- Instructors are required to complete a Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)
- May be required to work at various RRC campuses
