| Donald's Fine Foods is in need of Semi-Skilled Labour (Meat Packing) Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent Brief Job Description Assigned to the DFF Richmond location, the Production Semi Skilled Labour is an integral team member within the production function. The Production Semi Skilled Labour will assist on the various production lines and operating production related equipment. The general duties includes but is not limited to all of the General Labour duties and at least 3 of the following jobs at line speed: Pre-Trimming/ Final Trim, Operating all grind line equipment and sausage stuffer, Automatic Slicer/Dicer Operator, Band Saw Operator, Skinner Operator, and Trayer/Overwrapper, Packaging (roll stock)/ Injector/ Label/ Box Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Perform at least 3 of the following jobs at line speed: a. Perform pre-trims and/or final trims on various types and cuts of meat b. Operate all grind line equipment and sausage stuffer c. Automatic slicer/dicer d. Band Saw Operator e. Skinner Operator f. Trayer/Wrapper g. Packaging (roll stock)/inspector/Label/Box Machine Operator 2. General duties jobs including traying, wrapping, boxing and un-boxing products, bagging, labeling and shift sanitation duties Working Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, weekend work and overtime may be scheduled based on business needs. Work Location: 11528 Eburne Way, Richmond, BC Canada V6V 2G7 Employment Requirements: - Education: Some secondary school education may be required - Work Experience: At least 1 year experience in related industry is required - Basic communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a Cold Environment where one will be standing for extended periods - Ability to physically push, pull, and lift to 50 lbs. - Ability to work effectively and efficiently as a team member - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. | |
