| Global Trans Logistics, a trucking company 1 Alovera Street, Brampton Ontario L6P 4B8 urgently require a Freight Forwarding Logistician. Job Type: Permanent, full time position; Overtime: 1.5 times the wage after 44 hours per week. | |

| Salary | $ 27 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week. |
| Education Requirements | Completion of Secondary school; Certification/Diploma in a college program will be an asset. |
| Essential Skills | - Review all shipment documentation to confirm accuracy and perform data input to open file; - Track and trace goods while they are en route to their destinations; advise customers of all changes and diversions en route due to accidents, breakdowns etc; - Monitor and respond to driver satellite messages and assist drivers with routing directions; - Schedule drivers to pick up and deliver loads to customers; - Monitor and maintain records of driver daily logs and ensure that logs are completed accurately; - Ensure that all order entries from start to close of a trip are properly recorded in the software system; - Inspect trucks for safety, cleanliness and compliance and ensure that equipment is in good working condition; - Ensure that all client instructions are followed; - Perform billing function including preparing client invoice and all required support documents - Maintain internal record-keeping system; Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents; Determine method of shipment |
