| Norris Ford Sales Ltd. is in need of Automotive Service Technician Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components 2. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems 3. Estimate parts and labour costs 4. Perform scheduled maintenance service 5. Test and adjust units to specifications 6. Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements 7. Complete reports to record problems and work performed 8. Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor 9. Provide customer service Area of Specialization: 1. Engine repair 2. 4-wheel drive 3. Electrical and electronic system 4. Diesel engines 5. Diagnostics 6. Alignment, steering and suspension 7. Brake system 8. Fuel and emission system 9. Ignition and electrical system 10. Automatic transmission 11. Standard transmission 12. Drive train components 13. Front end components 14. Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system Employment Requirements: 1. Education: Completion of secondary school education is required 2. Registered apprenticeship certificate 3. Work Experience: 3 - 5 years related experience is required 4. Valid driver's license 5.
