| Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Day Number of Positions: 2 Job Location: 10, 31207 Range Road 282 Didsbury, AB T0M 0W0 Benefits: Extended health care and dental care benefits after 3 months of employment (Shared Premium) Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work setting: General manufacturing Tasks: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables; Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments; Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances; Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers); Set up, operate and maintain a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools; Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments Experience and specialization: Measuring tools: Micrometers, Callipers, Calibre, Gauges, Verniers Equipment and machinery experience: Computer numerical control (CNC) machines, Milling machines Transportation/travel information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Public transportation is not available Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Attention to detail Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability: Accurate, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Initiative, Team player | |
