| Vacancies: 1 Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Fulltime, Day Job Requirements Tasks: Responsible for organizing, managing and directing all technical and staff activities of the echo lab, Assists in planning and managing divisional operations, schedule, safety, staff engagement, and establishing guidelines for quality control of equipment and procedures. Prioritizes services rendered based on types of procedures, patient conditions and staff/equipment available, This role performs an extensive range of cardiac ultrasound studies and may also perform vascular studies in the clinical and research settings at various locations, Perform examinations include Transthoracic, Exercise Stress Echocardiograms, and additional procedures as dictated by research protocols and clinical trials, Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record images, Monitor examination to evaluate quality and consistency of diagnostic images and make adjustments to equipment, as required, Record, store and process scanned images from the ultrasound equipment to the archiving system, Observe and care of patients throughout examinations, Prepare examination reports for physicians, Check ultrasound equipment to ensure proper operation. | |
