No. of Vacancy of this position: 1 Duties and Responsibilities of Welder- (NOC 72106): • Operating manual and semi-automatic welding equipment for example, resistance metal inert gas (MIG) welding, plasma arc welding (PAW) and tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding. • Designs and fabricates metal components and structures to improve existing designs and reliability. • Load, position, and clamp components into the weld fixture by following defined operator and standardized work instructions. • Use manual or automated flame-cutting machinery. • Use soldering and brazing equipment. • Maintains welding equipment to ensure full compliance with all safety rules and regulations. • Use metal-shaping tools like brakes, shears, and other devices for metal straightening and bending. • Reads and interprets equipment manuals, factory diagrams, and other technical manuals and blueprints; sketches planning drawings as required. • Keeps welding work area neat, orderly, and free of all potential safety hazards. | |
