| Job Duties: - Read and interpret drawings and blueprints to determine building specifications. - Use measuring tools to prepare layouts in conformance to building codes. - Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join concrete form materials made of wood, wood substitutes and other materials, according to project requirements. - Assemble and secure forms in place with nails, bolts, or screws, ensuring proper alignment. - Inspect forms and formwork to identify and repair any defects or damage. - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations. - Assist with cleaning and site maintenance during and after construction projects. - Assist with coordinating work on site. - May assist in estimating costs and materials for projects. - May pour and spread concrete into forms. Employment Requirements: - Minimum 1 year of experience as a Concrete Formworker. - Physically demanding position requiring various levels of manual dexterity. - Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch and kneel for extended periods of time. - Willingness to learn and the ability to follow instructions. - Strong interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to attend multiple work locations across the greater Victoria area. - English language ability. - Completion of secondary school. Job Details: - $30.00 per hour. - Permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week). - Extended healthcare benefits after 1 year of continuous employment.
