Position Available: 3 Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent Location: 9675 116 Street, Surrey, BC Canada V3V 3Z7 Job Duties: • Read and interpret blueprints, detail sheets and drawings to determine specifications to lay out work. • Able to handle, unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed. • Load and unload materials and place steal units in beams and pillars. • Able to fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware. • Design, cut and twist metal sheets according to requirement. • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials. • Assemble and rigid manufactured metal surfaces. • Erecting and installing scaffolding, hoisting equipment and rigging. • Co-ordinate with signal crane operator to position units according to blueprints. • Examine structures and equipment for deterioration, flaws with specifications. • Must be able to work in all weather conditions. • Dismantling equipment and structures as per requirement. | |
