| Job Duties: -Load and unload construction materials from truck and move materials to work areas. -Cut and install batt insulation. -Cut and hang 6 mil plastic poly sheeting. -Assist various tradespersons on construction sites as instructed. -Use hand tools at construction sites as instructed. -Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites as required. -Follow safety procedures and report any violations to management. -Perform other activities at constructions sites, as directed. Employment Requirements: -Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch and kneel for extended periods of time. -Willingness to learn and the ability to follow instructions. -Ability to use various hand tools. -Must have good attention to detail. -Capable of working independently and as part of a team. -Ability to attend multiple work locations across the greater Victoria area. -No experience necessary as training will be provided. -English language ability. Job Details: -$23.00 per hour. -Permanent, full-time (30-40 hours per week) position. -Extended healthcare and dental coverage after 1 year of continuous employment. -RRSP contribution matching after 1 year of continuous employment. -Physically demanding position requiring various levels of manual dexterity. Location: -Various worksites across Greater Victoria, British Columbia. | |
