Job Duties: -Prepare and cook food items. -Ensure that all dishes and recipes are made to standard. -Help oversee kitchen operations and food service areas. -Monitor incoming product to ensure it meets restaurant standards -Assist in the supervision and training of kitchen support staff. -Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. -Monitor, maintain and replenish inventory as needed. -May assist in menu planning. Employment Requirements: -Minimum 1-2 years of commercial cooking experience. -Good knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking methods considered an asset. -Ability to work efficiently, multi-task and perform well under pressure. -Strong communication and organizational skills. -English language ability. -Completion of secondary school. Job Details: -$18.00 per hour. -Permanent, full-time position (35 to 40 hours per week across a variety of shifts from Monday to Sunday). -Physically demanding position. -Standing for extended periods of time.
