Job Location: Unit 200 - 1599 Kenaston Blvd, Winnipeg, MB R3P 2N3 Benefits: Dental and extended medical Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time Barber Specific Skills: Cut and trim hair according to client's Instructions or preferences; Shave and trim beards and mustaches; Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages. Hairstylist Specific Skills: Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair; Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences; Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair; Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair. Hair Styling Techniques: Blow drying Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, effective interpersonal skills, client focus, dependability Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, physically demanding, Risks of slip and fall injuries, use of electrical tools, use of sharp objects, use of chemical products.
