Duties: Red River College requires Early Childhood Education instructors for the Interlake and Peguis Fisher River (location Fisher River Cree Nation) Regional Campus. Responsibilities include classroom instruction, curriculum development, student evaluation, and supervision of students in practicum.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A relevant degree focused on Early Childhood Education and care (i.e. Development Studies, Child Development, Family Social Services, Early Childhood Education), an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Extensive experience in the field of Early Childhood Learning in childcare or a similar setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, including experience providing presentations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge regarding the specific role of the Early Childhood Educator in the education and support of Indigenous children and families
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent understanding of current trends and research in early childhood education and care
- Values Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Commitment to lifelong learning

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience instructing and training in a post-secondary, human service or social service setting
- Classified as an ECE III in Manitoba or equivalent from another province

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check, including a Vulnerable Persons Sector Check
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Adult Abuse Registry Check
- This position may be required to travel
