Build on your education and experience:

Provide consultation and guidance to internal partners and Fraser Health leaders in the advancement of positive health care experiences for First Nations, Métis and Inuit patients, families and communities.

Lead, plan, develop and implement communication strategies that support Aboriginal Health and ICS programs and initiatives.

Provide a cultural lens to communication efforts, ensuring cultural safety is embedded in our language and public facing materials.

Collaborate with the Aboriginal Health program and members of the Communication & Public Affairs team and engage staff members, patients, and First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities to support cultural renewal and promote a positive corporate image.

We will be looking for you to have the following:

Degree in Communications, Public Affairs or a related field.

Five (5) to seven (7) year recent related experience in a communications or public affairs role in a large public sector, health care and/or similarly complex organization.

Knowledge of Indigenous histories, cultures and healing practices is highly valued.

This full time position is based at our Central City offices in Surrey, BC, with access to rapid transit, shopping, restaurants, on-site gym and amenities.
