| Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Day, Morning Number of Positions: 1 Job Location: 7235 Flint Road SE, Calgary, AB T2H 1G2 Benefits: Dental Benefits, Life Insurance, Disability benefits, $500 Annual Health Spending Account Education: College/CEGEP Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting: Private company, corporation or industry Tasks: Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs; Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations; Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations; Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials; Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials; Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication; Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives; Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers; Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements; Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides Experience and specialization: Computer and technology knowledge, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel Type of production art: Visual effects Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Tight deadlines Personal suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Team player, Creativity | |
