We are currently looking for a Full Time Baker (NOC: 6332) at our South Side (5028 104A Street) location. Schedule Details: Sunday to Friday Availability Shifts vary between 4:00am till 3:00pm Mornings and Weekends Required What We Offer: Unlimited career advancements and strong training Free lunches every shift Flexible work schedule A great atmosphere where we listen to your ideas Excellent health benefits An opportunity to work with a supportive team A clean and safe work environment What You'll Be Doing: Prepare a wide variety of baked goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, danishes, etc. by following recipes and/or product directions Measure and weigh out baking ingredients Combine measured ingredients into bowls for mixing or blending Set time and speed controls for mixing or blending machines to ensure consistency Mix various ingredients to create fillings for pastries Roll, knead, cut, or shape dough to form sweet rolls, pie crusts, tarts, cookies, or other products Place dough or batter in pans, molds, or sheets Set oven temperature and place items into hot ovens for baking Observe color of products being baked and adjust oven temperature, humidity or conveyor speeds accordingly Decorate pastries using different glazes, icings, and toppings Wash and clean baking supplies by following sanitation and cleaning procedures Adhere to food safety and handling procedures Keep work area clean and presentable Complete other duties assigned by management Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently Long periods of standing and walking Frequent bending and twisting Occasionally pushing and pulling of heavy carts around bakery Occasionally work in coolers and freezers for short periods of time | |

| Education Requirements | High School or GED from an accredited school system or program. Enrolled in or has completed Baking Apprenticeship Program |
