| Job Duties: - Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas from truck. - Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, concrete formworkers, cement finishers, and roofers in construction sites as instructed. - Assist with building walls, ceilings and roofing systems on commercial and residential buildings. - Assist steel stud framers with cutting, shaping and placing studs in lightweight steel and other materials. - Use hand tools and power tools at construction sites as instructed. - Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment. - Follow safety procedures and report any violations to management. - Perform other activities at constructions sites, as directed. Employment Requirements: - Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch and kneel for extended periods of time. - Willingness to learn and the ability to follow instructions. - Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools. - Must have good attention to detail. - Capable of working independently and as part of a team. - Ability to attend multiple work locations across the greater Victoria area. - No experience necessary as training will be provided. - English language ability. Job Details: - $23.00 per hour. - Permanent, full-time (30-40 hours per week) position. - Extended healthcare benefits after 1 year of continuous employment. - Physically demanding position requiring various levels of manual dexterity.
