Against this impressive backdrop, USask is looking to appoint its next Provost and Vice-President Academic. Reporting directly to the President, the Provost and Vice-President Academic plays a critical and integrative role in the establishment and achievement of the strategic directions and academic priorities of the University. The role provides institution-level leadership to a wide range of senior administrative positions across the University, including members of the President’s Executive Committee, Deans and Executive Directors of 17 Colleges and Schools, and heads of other major senior administrative units. The Provost and Vice-President Academic also provides leadership to a diverse academic community of more than 60 Department Heads, 1,000 faculty members, and professional and administrative staff across the University.
