What you’ll do: - Build partnership with first- and second-line management, understanding their roles and priorities - Collaborate with partners to promote the risk culture - Co-ordinate and manage audit engagements - Coach and mentor the team on setting performance objectives and development planning - Perform budget, training, communication and recruitment duties What we’re looking for: - Collaborative leader proficient in internal audit techniques - Strong communicator with excellent presentation skills - Proven commitment to a strong risk culture - Effective relationship-builder with sound judgment - Experienced coach and mentor passionate about helping others succeed - Confident team player able to convey findings in a positive manner What you’ll need: - A bachelor’s degree in business admin or commerce and an accounting or audit designation, plus at least six years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) - Expertise with internal audit practices, theories and trends - An understanding of risk management practices - Knowledge of specialized audit software and tools | |
