| Foremost Universal LP is in need of Wire Processor Operator Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent This position will work with Lead Hands, Charge Hands and Foremen to ensure continuous improvements using SAW, GMAW, FCAW and semi-automatic wire feed welding processes. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications 2. Operate manual or semi-automatic wire feed welding: gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), and submerged Arc Welding 3. Operate and maintain flame-cutting and plasma arc cutting equipment 4. Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded 5. Align components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (flat, vertical, horizontal or overhead) 6. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws 7. Operate metal shaping machines such as brake, shears and hydraulic band saw 8. Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues 9. Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and repair techniques 10. Ensure compliance with Industry, Legislative, and corporate Safety policies and procedures 11. Recommend changes to improve quality and productions costs 12. Operation of overhead crane 13.
