The School of Labour Studies invites applications for the following teaching position in the Spring 2024 Session
Course Number& Name – Work and Labour Studies 1A03, Intro to Work & Labour in Canada Number of Sections Available: 1 Number of Units Per Section: 3 Term: Spring 2023, May 6 – June 21, 2024 Location / Delivery Mode - Asychronous Projected TA support: 0 Projected Enrolment: 50 (capped at 55) Wage Rate: $7,783.93 (per 3 unit course)
Course Description: WORKLABR 1A03 - An Introduction to Work and Labour in Canada 3 unit(s) Required Qualifications: A PhD or ABD is preferred, although applicants with MAs and teaching experience (either in post-secondary institutions or in the labour movement) will be considered. Applicants should have an interdisciplinary approach to labour issues.

*Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement. The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
