| Essential Skills | Main Duties to be completed as per the lead statement of NOC 7232: • Compute dimensions and tolerances and set machine tools (lathe mill, saw, table saw, punch press, mig welding etc.), • Verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments (measuring tapes, squares), • Machining, fitting and assemble casting and other parts to make metal moulds, precision models of required shape, • Inspect and test final products • Position, secure, measure and work metal stock or casting to lay out for machining, lay out shape and assemble patterns of metal, fibre, wood and other materials from blueprints, • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications. • Further question or concern feel free to contact the undersigned. |
