Position Available: 1 Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time Job Location: 4020 Viking Way Unit#105 Richmond V6V 2L4 Job Duties: - Coordinate access and use of computer networks - Install software - Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment - Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks - Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software - Provide problem-solving services to network users - Implement data, software and hardware security procedures - Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records - Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations - Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet - Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance - Supervise technical staff Job Requirements: Education: Completion of one- or two-year college certificate is required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience is required/ Worked in an MSP Environment Work conditions and physical capabilities: - Fast-paced environment - Attention to detail.
