Job location: 5505 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 2G3 Terms of employment: Full time, Temporary English is required. Ability to speak Vietnamese is an asset as all staffs and most clients and suppliers speak Vietnamese. Job Duties: • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve the food. • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation. • Establish methods to meet work schedules and procedures. • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. • Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures. • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. • Plan Food Services personnel work schedules on a weekly basis. • Provide leadership and direction to all Food Service Workers. • Maintain the operational oversight necessary to run the job including instructions for all Food Services workers. • Monitor and maintain health related information system to generate meal reports and orders. • Perform regular investigation on regular basis and to oversee transaction to maintain product quality and specification programs. | Salary | $13.00 - $15.00 per hour for 40 hours per week |
| Education Requirements | Completion of a Post-Secondary College Diploma or University Degree is required (Programs in Food Service Administration/Hotel and Restaurant Management field is preferred) |
| Experience | 2-3 years (or at least 2 years) of relevant work experience is required. Previous employment as food services or hospitality management is preferred |
