We support one another, make impactful contributions to the organization, and develop and nurture meaningful connections across our ecosystem!Come and join us - Where Payments Meets Purpose!|About the role;The Director of Core Payment Products plays a crucial role within Payments Canada, focusing on the ongoing product management and enhancement of existing payments systems and services, including ACSS and Lynx, as well as any future capabilities that are launched and deemed as core. This role involves overseeing the entire post-launch product lifecycle, ensuring products remain functional, competitive, and aligned with industry needs. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement and ensure that our core payment capabilities meet evolving market demands, all while working closely with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.Job Grade: H|What you'll doYour Responsibilities include: · Product Strategy Development: Developing and executing comprehensive product strategies, outlining product vision and roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams. · Strategic Planning: Managing strategic planning, providing insights and recommendations for core payment products to achieve organizational goals. · Lifecycle Management: Managing the intake of products from the product development teams, post launch, and driving the subsequent product lifecycle, including enhancements, updates, and ongoing improvements. · Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure product success and alignment with market needs. · Team Leadership: Fostering professional growth within the team, aligning goals with organizational objectives, and promoting a collaborative culture. · Performance Monitoring: Actively monitor stakeholder impacts, opportunities, and ensuring products remain competitive and relevant. · External Representation: Representing the organization at industry events and committees, enhancing its reputation and influence within the payments ecosystem.|Minimum Qualifications · Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Economics, or a related discipline; · Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in product management within the payments/financial services sector; · Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a people leadership role; · Additional Product management experience in a government or non-profit organization would be beneficial; · In-depth knowledge of payment systems and related trends in the domestic and international payments ecosystem; · Strong knowledge of regulatory (eg. OSFI, PIPEDA), compliance (eg.
