We support one another, make impactful contributions to the organization, and develop and nurture meaningful connections across our ecosystem!Come and join us - Where Payments Meets Purpose!|About the roleReporting to the Director, Enterprise and Payment Product Risk, you will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of an effective enterprise Business Continuity Management (BCM) program and supporting the broader Enterprise Risk Management Program that is consistent with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You will monitor adherence to the program across Payments Canada to ensure the organization is appropriately prepared for, and can respond to, disruptions to normal activities, in alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program at Payments Canada, including ensuring risk is effectively managed and reported in pursuit of our strategic objectives.Job Grade: F|What you'll doYour responsibilities for this role will include: · Risk Oversight: Provide oversight and effective challenge to ensure business continuity risks are managed in line with established practices and risk appetite. And also provide recommendations to the risk leadership and senior management teams on business continuity and resiliency issues through briefings, reports, and presentations. This also involves monitoring of risks to business continuity to ensure that business continuity plans and broader Enterprise Resiliency continue to effectively mitigate them. Crisis Management Plan: Maintain, improve, manage changes to, and exercise the organization's crisis management plan, supporting its invocation and usage. · Business Continuity Exercise Planning & Execution: Plan and oversee the execution of formal business continuity exercises. · Lead Program Development: Oversee the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Business Continuity Management program, ensuring alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management Program. · Support Business Units: Offer guidance and support to Business units to embed strong risk practices and facilitate the Business Continuity Management Program. This also involves participation in project teams as the business continuity subject matter expert to ensure that continuity requirements are addressed throughout the project. · Organizational Training & Change Management: Provide organization-wide training and change management to support the Business Continuity Management framework. · Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization, as well as with external risk management and business continuity specialists through business continuity related industry forums, as well as cross-sector, tests and exercises.|Minimum Qualifications · Undergraduate degree in business/commerce or related field; · Minimum of 5 (five) to 7 (seven) years of recent experience in business continuity management and/or operational risk management focusing on business continuity risks; · Experience in developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels; · Ability to stay abreast of business continuity risk developments; · Required to be on-call on a regular basis; · Government of Canada Reliability clearance or eligibility to obtain.|Preferred Qualifications · Knowledge of operational and business continuity risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices; information technology knowledge is considered an asset; · Business continuity and/or disaster recovery certification is considered an asset;| Salary Range · Based on qualifications and experience: $93,637 and $117,046.Please submit your application by July 10, 2024.| Payments Meets Purpose - What you can expect from us · Flexible, hybrid (remote/office) environment; · Competitive compensation package, including annual variable bonus and defined contribution pension plan with employer matching percentage (If eligible); · Comprehensive health and dental benefit coverage, including mental health coverage, life insurance and a health spending account for you and your dependents (Permanent and temporary employee's with contracts 12 months & over); · Paid time off: minimum four weeks paid vacation, sick and personal days, December Holiday Shutdown and Cultural Holiday Observance Days; · 26 Weeks of paid maternity and parental leave top-up; · Rewards and recognition program; · Access to Office Gym Facilities; · Internal and external professional development opportunities; · Fun team and organizational events; · Monthly All Staff Forums led by our Executive Leadership Team.|Our Diversity, Inclusion and Equity CommitmentAt Payments Canada, we are committed to making everyone feel they can be themselves and thrive at work.
