| About the role

 

Reporting to the, Director, Strategic Partnerships and Vendor Management, the incumbent supports the Vendor Management Framework (VMF) processes and procedures both internally and externally. The Vendor Portfolio Manager (VPM) will oversee vendors, supporting key mission critical Payment Product services at Payments Canada.

 

| What you’ll do

 

Vendor Portfolio Manager is responsible for:

  • Lead the management of vendors that are key to the organization achieving its mandate;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the vendor management approach and departmental strategy; 
  • Partner internally and externally with senior stakeholders to facilitate development and execution of vendor strategies.

|Minimum Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related discipline;
  • Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in leading the management of critical vendors in the financial services or payment industry;
  • Comprehensive understanding of vendor management;
  • Strong relationship management and leadership skills;
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and strategic thought leadership skills;
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem solving skills;
  • Strong project management, organization, and time management skills;
  • Valid criminal records check or eligibility to obtain.

| Salary Range

  • Based on qualifications and experience: $112,364 and $140,455.
