| Education Requirements | A university degree or equivalent |
| Essential Skills | Knowledge of the challenges and aspirations of the diverse cultural, ethnic and language communities of our province and region. Understanding of segmenting stories (aka ‘elementing’) as well as writing with voice and personality is required. An understanding of image selection and cropping is required. Advanced knowledge of web, mobile and social media tools and industry trends. Excellent communication skills. Advice and guidance are available but initiative and independent judgment are expected. Ability to work a variety of shifts including early starts, late finishes and weekends. |
| Experience | A minimum of three years of relevant experience including proven ability in the field and knowledge of the digital or print industry. |
