About the Opportunity
Our Calgary office is looking for a capable and enthusiastic civil engineering technology student to join our team for a 4 or 8-month work term joining us May 2023!

This opportunity will involve varied experience working with seasoned veterans and recent graduates alike.

Typical duties may include:
- Preparation of as-built drawings for record submission
- Civil drafting associated with land development projects and other infrastructure work
- Drafting detailed engineering drawings based on verbal instruction and/or hand sketches
- Ensuring quality control and verifying accuracy of your production work
- Communicating with team members and project leaders
- Be part of a diverse and dynamic team with coaching and mentorship opportunities
ExperienceAbout You
Our preferred candidate is currently enrolled in an Engineering Technology program and possesses the following skills, strengths, and interests:

- Strong computer skills. Familiar with AutoCAD design products
- Familiarity with Civil 3D would be considered an asset
- High attention to detail
- Proactive, able to take initiative and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to help where needed on a variety of projects, including general civil infrastructure design and production
- Committed to ongoing personal and professional development
