Rogers is seeking a Senior Manager Classified Programs individual to join Information & Cyber Security Unit and accountable for architecture, design, engineering and operations of critical classified systems related to telecommunication systems. 

Reporting to the Director Cyber Security and Classified Programs at the Rogers Brampton Campus, the Senior Manager Classified Programs will be leading a team and will work to coach and develop the team, providing managerial support and guidance on best practices for optimum delivery.  The Senior Manager will manage projects that contribute to the ongoing improvement and quality of the systems, striving to meet, anticipate and exceed stakeholder expectations. The domain focus for the Senior Manager will be to lead and manage the technical architecture, design, engineering, and operations of classified systems. This person will be working with network engineering teams, cyber security teams, regulatory teams, telecom standards teams, external agencies, and vendors. 

What you will be doing...
•    Lead and manage a team, and conduct coaching, development planning, inspiring team to execute on the vision. 
•    Manage the operations of classified systems, including activities such as planning for upgrades, maintaining platform health, coordinate patching, recommend system improvements
•    Lead the strategy and architecture design of classified systems and consider relevant standards and impacts to the systems. 
•    Assist in driving projects related to enhancements and new system development as required by stakeholders, both internal and external
•    Build and maintain key relationships with industry experts, technology peers and stakeholders to demonstrate the value and effectiveness of Rogers security.
•    Encourage a culture that supports the development of innovative and effective solutions

What you will bring...
•   Required 10+ years of relevant network engineering or operations experience in telecom environment.
•   Undergraduate or graduate degree in any engineering domain. 
•   Strong fundamental understanding of 3GPP (3G/4G/5G), DOCSIS, GPON, IP, ESTI, ATIS standards, Virtualization and other telecommunication technologies. 
•   Advanced knowledge of technology standards (e.g., Infrastructure, Network, Architecture)
•   Familarity with cybersecurity frameworks & regulatory controls including ISO, NIST.
•    Well-developed leadership, management, and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to excite and lead others.
•    Can direct and manage multiple priorities in high pressure situations
•    Effective communication to varying audiences, including senior executives, technology peers, and government officials.
•    Able to analyze complex security issues and provide pragmatic options and recommendations.
•    Strong business and technical acumen.
•    Ability to work with cross-functional teams and achieve goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•    Preferred CISSP, PMP certification
