This role will report to the Senior Finance Manager, R4B Opex and will support the Rogers for Business (R4B) Business Unit. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the development and execution of management reporting for R4B leaders.

What you'll be doing:

• Executing period close procedures including preparation of journal entries, analytical review of financial results, and distribution of Management and Finance reporting packages.
• Providing value add variance commentary on financial results and key business indicators in partnership with R4B Management.
• Collaborating with business partners to prepare accurate annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts.
• Maintaining and develop financial models to support performance measurement in Internal and External Commissions at the macro level.
• Diligently tracking financial, program, and KPI results against multiple comparison points including Forecast, Budget, and Prior Year.
• Participating in special projects / ad-hoc assignments as required. 
   

What you have:

• Business Degree and a recognized Accounting Designation/MBA preferred.
• 3-5 years of progressive financial experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, planning and organizing skills.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in budgeting and forecasting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influence across the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Essbase, and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills would be an asset.
