In the Rogers for Business (R4B), Advanced Services team we are committed to creating and growing teams that are focused on where technology is going, and how we can harness technology advancements to help businesses do more. The Advanced Services portfolio encompasses both IoT & Data Center products and services, allowing us to bring to our customers, the newest and best end to end solutions.

 

We're looking for a Reporting Analyst who will help drive positive business performance through meaningful insights. Leveraging their analytical mindset to help identify business requirements, develops analytical processes using various data sources, interprets and validates data, communicates analysis, and produces visual tools such as dashboards and reports. All in an effort to help enable deliverables that provide key information as part of visual and evidenced-based analysis to support the Advanced Services business in making key decisions to drive growth through measured key performance metrics and measures. 


This is a highly analytical role that utilizes strong data management, communication and iterative analysis to recommend positive changes in the way we approach and manage the Advanced Services business. Bringing skillsets in critical thinking (think inside, outside & across the box) and developing a thorough understanding of the business to bring additional value-added insights through strategic thinking and explorative analysis.


What You'll be Doing:

  • Work with internal data sources and data teams to collect, interpret and analyse results
  • Develop and maintain standardized reporting dashboards
  • Be able to look at the big picture when looking at various performance measures impacting performance and business decisions
  • Collaborate with people across Advanced Services & other R4B functions to gather, share and communicate required data/information on Advanced Services performance indicators
  • Be able to elicit information from reports & data and share insights in a meaningful way to assist decision making
  • Break down complex information to communicate performance & business trends in simplistic terms for non-technical stakeholders inside & outside the Advanced Services team
  • Make recommendations about methods and ways to obtain and analyse data to improve quality and the efficiency of data & reporting systems
  • Identify patterns and trends in data sets, validate data and findings with stakeholders and ensure accuracy of data

 
What You Bring:

  • Experience in Finance, Data Analytics, Business Planning, Reporting or Performance Management
  • Strong organization skills, excellent written and verbal communication
  • Data Visualization & Presentation Skills
  • Advanced Analytical Skills (SAS EG, SQL)
  • Advanced Excel & Data Management skills
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI/Tableau or Data Visualization Tools
  • Dashboard and Report Development
  • Data mining & data modeling
  • Ability to work with and analyze large data sets
