| One (1) Full time Permanent position of news reporter-Journalist (NOC 5123) available atRangla Punjab Radio & TV Inc. located at 409 Main Street East Milton, On, L9T 1P7. Main Duties to be completed as per the lead statement of NOC 5123: - Publish or broadcast news stories. - Collect local, national, and international news through interviews, investigation and observation for radio programs. - Abide by journalism's ethics and codes. - Receive, analyze, and verify news and other copy for accuracy - Write critical reviews of literary, musical, and other artistic works based on knowledge of the community, judgement and experience. - Research, report and investigate on various local news and cultural event. - Prepare regular feature columns and stories on specialized topics for radio programs. - Write editorials and commentaries on topics of current interest to stimulate public interest on community sensitive subject. - Stay up to date with the latest current events of interest in the community. | |
