What you'll be doing: 

PRODUCT STRATEGY AND ROADMAP

  • Develop the product strategy, including target segments/regions, positioning, pricing and sales forecast
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by leveraging market research
  • Develop the roadmap and evolution of the product (eSIM and Connected Wearables)
  • Stay informed of the latest market, customer and technology trends to adapt/evolve the solution accordingly
  • Gain strategic alignment with other Rogers teams that are working on similar or complementary solutions

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT

  • Evaluate, select and negotiate contract with the right technology partners that will provide and/or integrate the solution components
  • Manage co-innovation engagements
  • Manage lifecycle of products
  • Pitch incremental build programs by evaluating business opportunity & securing funding
  • Leading build activities as business owner ensuring on-time & in-budget delivery

OPERATIONAL READINESS

  • Develop sales training materials, including product deck, battle card, etc.
  • Coordinate Go-To-Market activities and teams
  • Ensure customer billing and network provisioning systems are in place to support this solution

SALES SUPPORT & ENABLEMENT

  • Collaborate with sales channels and commercial strategy to achieve revenue targets, manage margins, and enable product delivery
  • Act as point of first reference for all product related enquiries
  • Support and co-develop training materials & activities
  • Provide cross-functional teams with the necessary technical expertise, product use cases and target customer personas

 

What you bring:

  • Undergraduate degree required (business or a quantitative discipline); Masters level preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in product management and roadmap delivery
  • 2+ years in telecommunications, banking or other large-scale regulated industry
  • Experience creating customer and product journeys and delivery roadmaps leveraging Agile methodology
  • Experience in the development of detailed business artifacts including cost/benefit analysis, revenue potential, pricing models, forecasts, and contracts
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive to discover industry trends and incorporate them into product recommendations
  • Ability to summarize issues and quickly solve problems
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a highly competitive environment
  • Dynamic, autonomous and customer-focused
  • Must be able to tell “story” behind data and present to all levels of the organization
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Outlook
