| Location: 82 Crockford Blvd., Scarborough, ON M1R 3C3 Job type: permanent, full-time work with flexible working hours Vacancies: 2 Job duties: • Operating/using apparatus such as overhead cranes to transport and align separate assemblies and components • Examining and checking components, subassemblies and end products • Mounting of major parts like gears, pumps, motors or hydraulic assemblies • Create and read blueprints, designs and diagrams for construction/assembly • Position and fit already built metal parts, tools or sub-assemblies and components to create industrial machinery and apparatus, including welding or brazing parts • Set up machinery and ensure all material is readily available A qualified candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment, be able to handle heavy loads, pay attention to detail and have excellent hand eye coordination. Candidate must be an excellent team player, client focused and organized with the work load. | |

| Education Requirements | Completion of secondary education is needed. Completion of post-secondary in mechanical engineering, machine fitting or related field is required. |
| Essential Skills | Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build heavy industrial machinery, Move and align subassemblies and components, Install major components such as gears, pumps, motors or hydraulic assemblies, Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards |
