| Work Location: #26 100 King Street, Spruce Grove, AB T7X 3A2 Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent Company Info: Retail liquor store that supply liquor for Weddings, Graduations, Christmas parties, bars/restaurant. Job Duties: 1. Supervise and assist with the day to day operations of the liquor store, including stocking and storing of merchandise; displaying merchandise; maintaining overall appearance of the store; ringing sales, customer service and cash handling 2. Overseeing salespeople, cashiers and other employees, establish work schedule and operate regular performance review 3. Establish and maintain a training program to keep all liquor store staff informed and knowledgeable of store products and liquor laws and train staff in proper customer relations skills in an effort to maintain a high quality of service to the public; Assit to hire new store staff 4. Establish and administer retail objectives for the store including customer service objectives, operating plans, advertising strategies, and store improvements 5. Purchase or supervise the purchase of all products with an emphasis on evaluating deals to maximize profitability 6. Conduct periodic physical inventory throughout the year to maintain appropriate inventory levels 7. Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage 8. Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages, and prepare reports to the manager respectively 9. Provide monthly reports regarding sales, budgeting and personnel 10. Performs other duties as directed. Qualifications: 1. Obtaining Secondary School Diploma 2. 1-2 years of Customer Service and Sales experience is required. 3. Extensive experience with preparing budgets, and financial and expense reports 4. Excellent knowledge of customer service and retail sales; 5. Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers; 6. In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends, and marketing strategies. | |
